Software Quality Assurance Testing Engineer (Medical Devices)

Location: Remote; city/region listed as Tbilisi, with an address in Haifa. Work within the GMT+3 time zone.

StaffPick is hiring for a global medical device company developing TTFields therapy for aggressive cancers, with research and development based in Haifa.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain test plans and manual test strategies for web, mobile, PC, and embedded software.
• Execute and document manual, backend, API, and integration test cases.
• Track software defects and analyze bug trends.
• Support requirements gathering, needs analysis, and operational planning across departments.
• Assist the SW QA Testing Team Lead with assigned deliverables.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in software QA, including hands-on testing of backend and server-side web application components.
• Hands-on software development experience and strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with non-functional testing, API/backend testing tools such as Postman, Newman, or Bruno, and strong SQL skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and waterfall development processes, including regulatory implications.
• Strong documentation skills, Document Control experience, and ability to manage traceability matrices across SDLC documents.
• Fluent English and ability to work effectively in the GMT+3 time zone are required.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or relevant QA/testing certifications.
• Experience in medical device or other regulated-industry software, including IEC 62304 or FDA/ISO standards.
• Experience with API automation frameworks.
