Performance Marketing Motion Designer / Video Editor (Motion Design/Video): Creating social-first motion content, YouTube ads, and performance creative for Canva’s Spain marketing campaigns with an accent on motion design, platform-native editing, and data-informed iteration. Focus on animating product assets, recutting creator footage into high-performing variants, and using weekly performance feedback to improve creative output.
Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid attendance at the Madrid office 2–3 days per week

What you will do
- Lead motion design for social-first performance creative across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and YouTube Shorts.
- Animate Canva design and brand assets to demonstrate product value through clean, fast, and distinctive motion.
- Create and optimize YouTube ads with platform-specific pacing, storytelling, polish, and retention in mind.
- Edit creator and UGC footage into native-feeling, performance-focused content and produce creative variants.
- Balance always-on performance work with brand campaigns, lifecycle, events, and partnership assets.
- Experiment with AI and modern motion tools to improve the creative production workflow.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of motion design experience and a portfolio showing shipped work across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Strong fluency in After Effects or Cavalry, with the ability to take motion design work from concept to delivery independently.
- Solid video editing skills in CapCut, Canva Video, and/or Premiere Pro, including social-first editing.
- Experience editing creator content and identifying strong hooks in raw footage.
- Comfort with weekly performance feedback, rapid iteration, and fast sprint cycles.
- Spanish and good English are required, along with an understanding of cultural resonance in local creative work.
