2027 Summer Internship – Other Engineering Majors (Big Creek) 1 (Energy)

Location: Hybrid role based at an SCE facility in Palmdale, California; employees are generally required to reside in California. The internship runs for 12 weeks from May/June 2027 through August/September 2027. Relocation or housing support does not apply.

Salary: $23.50–$34.00 per hour

What you will do

• Work on real-world engineering challenges in the utility and energy sector.
• Collaborate with a mentor and cross-functional teams on an assigned project.
• Apply engineering knowledge while gaining hands-on experience with industry-relevant software and tools.
• Present the completed internship project at the annual Intern Expo.
• Build professional connections through intern events and demonstrate effective communication.
• Protect company physical, financial, cybersecurity, customer, and confidential information assets.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in any engineering discipline at an accredited institution.
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must generally reside in California for this hybrid position.
• Transcripts will be verified during onboarding.
