Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. Hybrid schedule with at least four days per week in the office and flexibility to work from home one day per week.
Base salary: $140,200–$192,800 per year, with potential variable compensation through bonuses, commissions, and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do
- Lead firm-wide asset allocation thought leadership in partnership with the Vice President of Asset Allocation and the Global Asset Allocation Committee.
- Develop strategic and tactical asset allocation solutions for accumulation, decumulation, retirement income, and specialized investor objectives.
- Integrate equity, fixed income, alternatives, and economic research into portfolio construction insights and asset allocation recommendations.
- Advance quantitative frameworks for risk and return forecasting, correlation modeling, scenario analysis, stress testing, and portfolio construction.
- Collaborate with investment, financial planning, retirement, policy, and platform teams to align guidance and tools with industry practices and regulatory requirements.
- Support publications, presentations, advisor engagement, client requests, and strategic research initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in investment research, portfolio management, investment strategy, asset allocation, or a closely related field, including extensive cross-asset expertise.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Active Series 7 registration, or ability to obtain it within 90 days.
- Active state securities agent registration through S63 or S66, or ability to obtain it within 90 days.
- Active state IAR registration through S65 or S66, or ability to obtain it within 90 days.
- Strong market and economic analysis, quantitative modeling, portfolio construction, communication, and senior stakeholder influence skills.
Nice to have
- CFA, CFP, CAIA, or a similar credential.
- Proficiency with Bloomberg and/or FactSet.
