Study Delivery Senior Manager (Study Delivery Lead)

Location: Hybrid role in the United Kingdom, with flexible home working and regular office work in Cambridge or Uxbridge.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of assigned global clinical studies, including quality, timelines, budget, and operational performance.
• Lead cross-functional study teams and translate product and clinical objectives into executable delivery plans.
• Define and execute plans covering feasibility, site selection, site engagement, recruitment, retention, and vendor delivery.
• Oversee enrollment, data flow, monitoring, corrective actions, and issue escalation across geographies.
• Identify and manage study risks using quality-by-design and risk-based approaches to protect participant safety and data integrity.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors while driving continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Degree-level education.
• Clinical trial execution experience and previous people leadership managing teams, projects, resources, or resource allocation.
• Experience in life sciences or a related field, including biopharmaceutical clinical research.
• Management experience with direct reports across multiple geographies.
• Experience representing a sponsor company in regulatory audits or inspections.
• Experience working with or overseeing clinical research vendors, including CROs, central laboratories, and imaging vendors.
