TL;DR
Global Head of Spend Management Controlling (Financial Controlling/Process Transformation): Leading global Spend Management forecasting, closing, reporting, governance, and process transformation across MCOs, R&D, Global Functions, and Manufacturing & Supply with an accent on financial data quality, automation, and scalable operating models. Focus on managing a distributed team of more than 20 professionals, standardizing global controls, and translating complex financial data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

Location: Budapest, Hungary — hirify.global Business Services, Váci Greens. Flexible working: Hybrid.

Salary range: Ft19 360 000–Ft25 813 333. Final compensation depends on experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors.

What you will do

  • Lead global Spend Management forecasting cycles, monthly and annual closing, reporting, variance analysis, and financial data quality across service lines, market and customer operations, R&D, global functions, and manufacturing and supply sites.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial governance policies, Group Controlling standards, and external regulatory requirements.
  • Co-lead the global process optimization roadmap, standardizing, streamlining, and automating Spend Management workflows.
  • Drive adoption of digital tools and collaborate with IT, HR, Finance transformation, and GPO teams on scalable solutions.
  • Lead and develop a global team of more than 20 professionals across three hub organizations.
  • Manage cross-hub coordination, knowledge sharing, resource allocation, performance objectives, and talent development.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10–12 years of progressive experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A, or a related finance function, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience managing finance processes in complex multinational or shared-services environments.
  • Proven experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Hands-on experience with finance process automation and optimization, using SAP, Workday, Anaplan, or similar platforms.
  • Expertise in Spend Management controlling, forecasting, reporting, financial governance, data analytics, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

  • Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or CPA.
  • Prior experience in a shared-services or hub-based model.
