What you will do

• Perform GEOINT remote sensing analysis, trade studies, analyses of alternatives, and spacecraft sensor performance assessments.
• Set up and execute modeling and simulation tools for diverse spacecraft platforms and sensor phenomenology.
• Conduct multivariate analysis, linear modeling, data mining, advanced statistical analysis, and performance analytics.
• Guide predictive analytics model development and identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative technical solutions.
• Present findings, recommendations, model results, and technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Lead analysis projects, support project planning and status reporting, and potentially supervise junior staff.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI clearance with an adjudicated polygraph is required.
• BS with 8–10 years, MS with 6–8 years, or PhD with 3–5 years of related experience in engineering, data science, physics, mathematics, or a similar technical discipline.
• In-depth experience in at least one area such as collection performance, resource allocation, multi-band remote sensing, sensor engineering, vehicle engineering, orbit mechanics, functional availability, or geolocation accuracy.
• Experience with modeling and simulation analysis, performance data analytics, systems analysis, and leading analysis projects or studies.
• Experience using more than one of Python, Tableau, MATLAB, and Systems Tool Kit.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, communication, and independent collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Project management skills.
• Experience with multi-INT analysis and demonstrations.
• Master’s degree in a related engineering discipline.
