What you will do
- Lead tax engagements for complex family offices, ultra-high-net-worth families, investments, and closely held businesses.
- Advise clients on individual, fiduciary, family investment partnership, estate, and gift taxation.
- Provide tax consulting services and manage tax compliance projects.
- Plan and execute client engagements, supervising and reviewing staff work.
- Develop new client relationships, expand services for existing clients, and collaborate across service lines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a CPA license, Enrolled Agent credential, or JD.
- 12+ years of continuous public accounting or family office tax experience.
- Significant experience with family offices, individual and fiduciary taxation, family investment partnerships, estate and gift taxation, and multi-state SALT or franchise tax.
- Experience leading large tax engagements for complex family offices and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
- Strong client service, communication, and relationship-development skills.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Taxation or a law degree.
- Experience at a Big Four or large national, regional, or local accounting firm.
- Experience working in a family office.
