TL;DR
Machine Learning Engineer (Python/MLOps): Building and deploying machine learning systems and optimized data pipelines for petabyte-scale national security analytics on supercomputing resources with an accent on model lifecycle automation, production integration, and monitoring. Focus on designing deployment pipelines, managing model drift and rollback scenarios, and delivering reliable ML services within broader product architectures.
Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States; travel as needed.

What you will do
- Integrate machine learning systems and pipelines with broader software architectures.
- Transition ML prototypes into production by building deployment pipelines and monitoring solutions.
- Construct optimized data pipelines for ML models and run experiments, tests, and documentation.
- Monitor deployed model performance, including model drift, rollback, and failure scenarios.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable Python and other code.
Requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph required.
- Degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, or another quantitative field.
- 1–3 years of experience with machine learning frameworks.
- Strong Python skills and knowledge of ML frameworks, data structures, and data modeling.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, Linux, and Windows.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Agile methodologies, software design, and system integration.
Nice to have
- Experience with petabyte-scale datasets and multi-INT analytics.
- Experience deploying, monitoring, and scaling models in production.
