What you will do

• Develop complex IT architectures in innovative software solutions and provide strategic-technological advice to customers.
• Manage teams from a technical perspective from kick-off to roll-out, in close contact with the project management team.
• Inspire and mobilize the project team and customers with leadership skills.
• Coach team members in Software Engineering and Architecture and in the application of agile principles.
• Further develop the Zühlke network of experts and work on group-wide initiatives for continuous improvement of software development.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience as a Software Engineer and/or Architect.
• Knowledge in the development of highly available and secure cloud solutions and expertise in software architectures and documentation (especially in microservices and domain-driven design as well as with tools such as UML and Arc42).
• Experienced in Backend (e.g. Java, Spring Boot, SQL/NoSQL databases and Apache Kafka) and ideally also in Frontend (e.g. Angular or React).
• Knowledge of DevOps/GitOps, in particular CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes and monitoring as well as security (e.g. OAuth2, OIDC and authentication and authorization).
• Excellent communicator and fluent in German and English: C1 level.
