Manager Supplier Quality (Pharmaceuticals)

What you will do

• Act as the Supplier Quality single point of contact for the J&J IMSC Athens site and related stakeholders.
• Own quality oversight for medium-critical suppliers, monitoring compliance and supporting change controls, deviations, escalations, complaints, specifications, and quality agreements.
• Plan, execute, and document supplier qualification and monitoring for APIs, drug products, excipients, raw materials, and packaging materials.
• Perform supplier audits, technical visits, proactive engagements, and performance reviews with external manufacturers and business partners.
• Lead or participate in supplier quality improvement and optimization projects.
• Coordinate supplier-quality support for customer and health-authority inspections, including data preparation and process presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university degree in science or engineering; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in quality management, production, quality control, or R&D within pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments.
• Proven experience managing external manufacturing operations or quality assurance for external manufacturing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of supplier selection, qualification, monitoring, and Supplier Quality Management activities.
• Familiarity with GMP and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) regulations.
• Experience collaborating with R&D, MSAT, Material Science, Procurement, EHS, Planning, manufacturing sites, quality groups, and regulatory stakeholders.
