Senior Data Scientist, Product & Operation Analytics - USDS (AI)

Location: Los Angeles, United States. The role is shifting from hybrid work to a fully in-person schedule of up to 5 days per week.

Salary: $136,800–$312,867 annually, with potential discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Conduct campaign and operations analytics to support day-to-day operations and business growth.
• Investigate data sources, assess their limitations, and perform exploratory analysis and research.
• Communicate complex data insights and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Design and monitor core metrics, support goal setting, and evaluate performance.
• Identify root causes of metric movements and build advanced analytical solutions and models.
• Leverage AI technologies to deliver improved business outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, economics, statistics, science, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience working with large datasets using SQL.
• Ability to conduct rigorous analysis and communicate conclusions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, autonomous, and highly organized approach.
• Ability to work on-site in Los Angeles up to 5 days per week.
