TL;DR
RTR - Open Talent Pool (Finance): Providing accurate and complete transactional financial accounting services for regional Sony Music entities with an accent on recurring entries, SAP close activities, reconciliations, and intercompany accounting. Focus on reviewing US and Local GAAP balances, managing SAP and BPC master data, supporting treasury processes, and resolving consolidation-system issues.
Location: Europe, Poland, Warsaw; the GFSS team is based at the Elektrownia Powiśle workspace in Warsaw.

What you will do
- Manage global recurring monthly financial entries and oversee entries prepared by an outsourced provider.
- Perform year-end close activities in SAP for multiple entities and support SAP system-change testing.
- Review balance sheet and loan reconciliations, ensuring balances comply with US and local GAAP.
- Monitor BPC reporting, investigate intercompany variances, and propose corrections.
- Maintain SAP master data and mappings for profit centers, cost centers, and other financial attributes.
- Act as a super user for SAP-BPC and provide guidance to analysts and the outsourced provider.
Requirements
- At least four years of experience, preferably in a multinational company.
- Experience with SAP.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, self-starting approach and flexible working style.
