Intern IT - Software Engineer

Location: Columbus, Ohio or Merrillville, Indiana; candidates must reside within 50 miles of the reporting location.

Salary: $19.80–$33.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support enterprise architecture strategy, technology roadmaps, standards, and application or platform planning.
• Contribute to IT service integration, governance, asset management, configuration management, and service-provider delivery.
• Assist with infrastructure, network delivery, ITIL-based processes, incident management, problem management, and change management.
• Develop and execute a cybersecurity incident-response scenario exercise and improve integration between security and IT operations.
• Support application development, system administration, business applications, system interfaces, and application lifecycle activities.
• Discover, cleanse, structure, model, and visualize data to produce insights for business decisions.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Currently pursuing a degree in data science, computer science, computer engineering, statistics, or mathematics.
• At least one year of undergraduate study completed and eligibility to enter junior or senior year in fall 2027.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher and experience with cloud, software development, data analytics, automation, or enterprise technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, root-cause analysis, communication, planning, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the 12-week summer program starting in May 2027.
