What you will do
- Analyze and clarify business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Create business architectures, process maps, wireframes, data models, user stories, and project documentation.
- Define test cases and support the Product Owner with acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Technology Leads, Business Process Managers, Business Architecture, and the Data Office to maintain consistency across system, process, and information architecture.
- Prioritize the Product Backlog based on Product Owner guidance and provide production support for business applications.
- Analyze customer needs and triage complex support cases to development teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Requirements Engineer or in a similar role.
- Experience as a Product Owner or in a similar position, with practical knowledge of Agile delivery and cross-functional product teams.
- Ability to work effectively with business and technical teams, with strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency with Jira or similar Agile management platforms such as Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Visio, Figma, or similar process-mapping tools, BPMN, commercial insurance products and processes, insurance standards and regulations, data modeling, database concepts, API design principles, or technical implementation.
