Senior Software Engineer (Python/React)

Location: Tallinn, Estonia, or London, United Kingdom. The London role follows a hybrid setup with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

What you will do

• Build and enhance scalable applications supporting global products and platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain reliable, well-tested software across the full application stack.
• Design APIs and services integrating internal systems and third-party platforms.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions with product managers and business stakeholders.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Improve performance, observability, scalability, and operational excellence while troubleshooting production issues.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with complex applications.
• Experience with distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, and RESTful APIs.
• Strong experience with Python and JavaScript, plus frontend development with TypeScript and React.
• Experience with databases and data platforms such as MySQL, Snowflake, Neo4j, Kafka, or OpenSearch.
• Comfort working in AWS environments and writing unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Strong communication skills, Agile experience, and the ability to mentor engineers and lead technical initiatives.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial, accounting, ERP, payments, e-commerce, content, data, or other complex data-intensive systems.
• Experience modeling complex business domains and optimizing database queries and large-scale data processing.
• Interest in music, technology, and systems supporting artists and creators.
