Lead Workplace Engineer - Microsoft 365 Make an impact

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with an expectation to be in the office at least 50% of the time

Salary: EUR 60,000–100,000 gross base salary per year for a full-time role, plus potential performance-based annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Drive the evolution, adoption, and delivery of Microsoft 365 and AI-augmented Digital Workplace capabilities.
• Design and implement Microsoft 365 services together with security, governance, and compliance controls.
• Deliver platform modernisation, migration initiatives, and other transformation solutions that create measurable business value.
• Implement solutions hands-on across Microsoft 365, Azure workloads, scripting, and modern development platforms.
• Use Microsoft Power Platform and Palantir Foundry for data-informed workplace decisions and visualisations.
• Engage vendors and internal stakeholders, monitor Digital Workplace developments, and share knowledge across teams.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of the Microsoft 365 Digital Workplace platform, including security, governance, and compliance services.
• Advanced automation and scripting skills, with experience in DevOps technologies and CI/CD methodologies.
• Hands-on knowledge of enterprise AI platforms such as Copilot or ChatGPT Enterprise.
• Working knowledge of data analytics and visualisation, including Microsoft Power Platform and Palantir Foundry.
• Working knowledge of Azure Cloud, networking, identity and access management, provisioning, authorisation, and authentication.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in a global enterprise, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Familiarity with regulatory, governance, and risk management frameworks.
• Experience with agile SCRUM methodology.
