Lab Technician 1 (Environmental Testing)

Location: Asheville, North Carolina, United States; on-site laboratory work. Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM–8:00 AM (third shift).

What you will do

• Support laboratory sample activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update documentation and laboratory databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental laboratory support policies, programs, and practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a laboratory or office setting and remain standing for extended periods while conducting tests.
• Ability to work around strong smells and handle samples while wearing provided personal protective equipment, including a lab coat, safety glasses, and gloves.

Nice to have

• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting.
