Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Location: On-site in Arlington, Virginia, United States. Full-time work authorization in the United States is required; occasional travel of up to 10% may be expected.

Salary estimate: $107,000–$220,000 per year.

What you will do

• Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the WDP System.
• Define and track KPIs and SLOs, identify performance bottlenecks, and perform root cause analysis after incidents.
• Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, runbooks, and operational playbooks.
• Automate routine operations, conduct capacity planning, and implement load testing for expected and stressful workloads.
• Establish disaster recovery procedures and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with development teams and use chaos engineering to identify and resolve system weaknesses.

Requirements

• SECRET security clearance is required.
• Junior: 0–3 years of experience; Journeyman: 4–7 years; Senior: 8+ years. All levels require a bachelor's degree.
• Professional proficiency in English and strong communication skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency and a self-starter mindset.
• Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Relevant certifications depend on level, including Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, SSCP, SecurityX/CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, FITSP-O, or GFACT.
