Platform Architect (Kubernetes)

Location: On-site in Arlington, Virginia, United States; occasional travel of up to 10%

What you will do

• Own the platform's technical roadmap and ensure the technical integrity of core WDP infrastructure.
• Design and evolve cloud infrastructure, containerization strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and core platform services.
• Define and improve non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, high availability, and reliability.
• Build disaster recovery capabilities and maintain a robust foundation for an expanding range of solutions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and communicate technical decisions clearly.

Requirements

• SECRET security clearance is required.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Professional English proficiency is required.
• Junior: 0–3 years of experience and a bachelor's degree; Journeyman: 4–7 years and a bachelor's degree; Senior: 8+ years and a bachelor's degree.
• Relevant certifications depend on level, including Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, SSCP, SecurityX/CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, FITSP-O, or GFACT.
• Good communication skills, a self-starter mindset, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
