TL;DR

Location: Raritan, New Jersey, United States; hybrid or on-site depending on business needs, with 20–30% domestic and international travel.

Base pay: $196,000–$342,700 per year, plus annual performance bonus and long-term incentive eligibility.

What you will do

  • Co-define and execute the evidence-generation strategy for the Wound Closure & Healing portfolio.
  • Lead clinical trials, registries, observational studies, and real-world evidence programs from design through data interpretation.
  • Direct a clinical research and outcomes team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and capability building.
  • Advise business and cross-functional leaders on evidence priorities, regulatory positioning, market access, commercial strategy, and clinician adoption.
  • Manage relationships with investigators, key opinion leaders, CROs, academic collaborators, and scientific partners.
  • Oversee budgets, resources, vendors, timelines, publications, and scientific communications.

Requirements

  • Clinical or scientific bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in clinical research, outcomes research, or evidence generation in medtech, medical devices, or related industries, including 5 years in leadership.
  • Experience designing and delivering clinical trials, registries, and real-world evidence programs.
  • Strong knowledge of outcomes research, health economics, payer and HTA evidence requirements, and medical-device clinical evaluation.
  • Knowledge of FDA, EU MDR, GCP, regulatory, ethical, and clinical evaluation/reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder influence, and people leadership skills.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree such as MD, DO, PhD, or PharmD.
  • Surgical experience or experience with wound closure, surgical hemostasis, wound-healing biologics, or adjacent surgical devices.
  • Peer-reviewed publications and presentations at surgical or wound-care congresses.
