Data Architect (AI/ML)

Location: On-site in Arlington, Virginia, United States. The role involves occasional travel of up to 10% and work in office and airfield environments.

Salary: $107,000–$220,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design and govern the complete data ecosystem of the War Data Platform.
• Establish the enterprise data model and define standards for data lakes, warehouses, and databases.
• Design data ingestion, processing, ETL/ELT, and data access architecture.
• Collaborate with GRC and security teams to integrate data governance, quality, and protection into the architecture.
• Make platform data findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable to support analytics and AI/ML at scale.

Requirements

• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• SECRET security clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree and 0–3 years of experience for Junior, 4–7 years for Journeyman, or 8+ years for Senior level.
• Required certification depends on level: Cloud+, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP for Junior/Journeyman; SecurityX/CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CCSP, or CISSP for Senior.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Strong communication, self-starter mindset, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
