Internship MSAT Downstream 80-100% (m/f/d)

Location: Visp, Switzerland; fully site-based

What you will do

• Support downstream technology transfer activities by preparing process documentation, tracking data, and coordinating cross-functional input.
• Collect and analyze data from manufacturing batches, deviations, and process performance trends.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and process descriptions for internal stakeholders and customer interactions.
• Participate in process risk assessments, change controls, and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, MSAT, QA, and Process Development teams on daily operations and troubleshooting.
• Maintain GMP documentation and data integrity while attending meetings and following up on action items.

Requirements

• Ongoing or completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Strong curiosity about biopharmaceutical manufacturing and process science, including USP or DSP.
• Strong communication skills in English; German is advantageous.
• Organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work fully site-based in Visp, Switzerland.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of bioprocessing and GMP.
• German language skills.
