Actuarial Developer (Hybrid set up)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid working

Salary: €42,000–€70,000 gross annual base salary for a full-time role, plus performance-based variable compensation.

What you will do

• Analyse calculation requirements for life and health insurance products.
• Transform product specifications into digital product models.
• Configure, test, and document new digital insurance product models.
• Support policy management and quote calculation for digital insurance policies.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, project leaders, business colleagues, and management to resolve problems and propose alternatives.

Requirements

• Relevant actuarial education with knowledge of life and pension products or a similar background.
• Relevant coding experience in Java, C#, Python, or another suitable language.
• Good understanding of life and health insurance products.
• Interest in coding and willingness to learn software development tools and techniques.
• Ability to understand complex requirements and develop simple solutions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
