Portfolio Construction Lead Analyst (Investment Analysis)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; hybrid work with up to one day per week from home.

Base salary: $107,000–$194,000 per year, depending on location, experience, and skills. Eligible employees may also receive a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Develop bespoke portfolio construction analyses, asset allocation model reviews, and investment solution proposals for financial professional clients.
• Provide consultation, performance reviews, and analytical services to internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct portfolio construction research, gap analyses, market reviews, and investment theme analysis.
• Develop and refine analytical frameworks, tools, methodologies, and intellectual capital.
• Identify opportunities to improve portfolio construction tools and services.
• Collaborate with relationship managers, investment professionals, consulting teams, and client stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in portfolio construction, investment solutions, and complex investment analysis.
• Experience advising clients and stakeholders on portfolio construction and investment solutions.
• Strong knowledge of market trends, industry research, asset allocation, and evolving investment themes.
• Ability to develop analytical frameworks, investment methodologies, tools, and intellectual capital.

Nice to have

• CFA designation or demonstrated progress toward the designation, including completion of at least Level I.
• Investment generalist experience across multiple asset classes and prior manager research experience.
• Experience with Morningstar Direct and Excel-based financial modeling.
• Experience mentoring and developing less experienced professionals.
• Comfort using AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies for research, analysis, and productivity.
