Manager, Quality (Life Sciences)

Location: Wallingford, Connecticut, United States; onsite work required during standard business hours

Salary: $91,700–$150,800 per year

What you will do

• Manage the Wallingford site's Quality Management System, including document control, training, validations, CAPA, NCMRs, and deviations.
• Lead and develop quality department personnel, providing guidance and conducting performance discussions.
• Write, review, and approve SOPs, COAs, deviations, and change impact assessments.
• Lead compliance activities and resolve product- and process-related issues and non-conformances.
• Identify and implement process improvements and optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with development teams on new product and process design, qualification, and validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8 or more years of relevant experience, or a related master's degree with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of formal or informal leadership experience and the ability to lead teams with varied skills and backgrounds.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to train employees and lead cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
