TL;DR
Area Construction Mgr (New Home Construction): Coordinating field operations and managing the completion of multiple homes on schedule and within budget with an accent on production scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and construction safety. Focus on resolving site issues, interpreting blueprints and local codes, controlling materials and costs, and maintaining standards across multiple construction sites.
Location: Mesa, Arizona, with travel to multiple construction sites

What you will do
- Coordinate and manage field operations to complete homes on time and within budget.
- Manage field personnel and conduct weekly meetings with builders.
- Set, maintain, and expedite production schedules across construction activities.
- Coordinate with planning and building officials, subcontractors, sales counselors, homeowners, and internal departments.
- Maintain quality, safety, material, and site appearance standards.
- Coordinate supply and material handling and assist with option cutoff dates.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a construction-related bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience with a fast-track home builder, including 2 years as a General Superintendent.
- Strong management, leadership, organizational, motivational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of new home construction, construction methods, materials, local codes, safety regulations, trades, and blueprint interpretation.
- Experience with budgets and cost control.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and work around variable weather, noise, dust, machinery, and other construction-site hazards.
