SOX IT Specialist (IT Controls)

Location: Bucharest, Romania — Dacia One; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Assess and improve IT controls supporting business processes.
• Maintain the SOX control environment through testing and quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with business, IT, risk, finance, and external audit stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and optimize IT controls.
• Contribute to training, guidance, best practices, and a strong risk and control culture.

Requirements

• Experience in IT audit, internal or external audit, SOX, risk, or IT with an interest in controls, governance, and process improvement.
• Knowledge of IT general controls and IT application controls.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, hands-on, continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global environment.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CIA, CISSP, ACCA, or CPA.
