Investment Analyst & Associate (Real Estate)

Location: Based in Amsterdam; eligible to work in the EU

What you will do

• Build and update acquisition, development, and operating financial models to assess cash flow, IRR, returns, and risks.
• Analyze real estate and hospitality market trends, including supply, pricing, and yields.
• Coordinate legal, tax, commercial, and technical due diligence for active transactions.
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentation decks for the investment committee and senior leadership.
• Support transactions from initial screening through structuring, negotiations, and closing.
• Assist with asset management, property valuations, investor materials, and stakeholder coordination.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in real estate investment, private equity, investment banking, or transaction advisory.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, real estate, economics, or business, with outstanding academic qualifications.
• Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel and strong knowledge of real estate metrics and deal structures.
• Strong commercial judgment, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in an international environment.
• Clear communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial analysis to senior management.
• Fluent English, willingness to be based in Amsterdam, ability to travel, and eligibility to work in the EU.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or progress toward CFA or RICS certification.
• Experience with real estate acquisition and development projects.
• Experience with hotel asset-light models.
• Knowledge of additional European languages.
