Commercial Finance Business Analyst

Location: Cape Town, South Africa

What you will do

• Support commercial finance and FP&A activities for the Middle East and Africa business and region.
• Manage month-end closing activities, including sales orders, rebates, discounts, accruals, flash reporting, and HFM submissions.
• Prepare regional reporting, rolling forecasts, annual budget schedules, StratPlan updates, and Business Review presentation materials.
• Manage Cognos data warehouse updates, uploads, reconciliations, sales reporting, and BI data integrity.
• Analyze price changes, SKU profitability, margin risks, pricing anomalies, and cost changes in partnership with Sales.
• Provide finance support for audits, stock takes, VAT administration, and business training on finance and BI tools.

Requirements

• Experience with commercial finance support and understanding of key business drivers.
• Experience in FP&A and regional financial reporting.
• BI experience with Cognos, data warehousing, and integrated systems.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets, with broader Google Suite literacy.
• Experience preparing presentations and working in a multinational environment.
• Strong communication skills and an approachable working style.
