What you will do
- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
Requirements
- Object-oriented PHP and experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter, or a general understanding of MVC frameworks.
- Familiarity with PHP ORMs such as Eloquent or RedBeanPHP.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, the PHP cURL library, and command-line PHP scripting.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or Oracle databases.
- Knowledge of HTML, current CSS styling, Linux command line, Bash, shell scripting, and Git or Subversion.
- Ability to understand technical specifications, with strong conceptualization, visual communication, and attention to detail.
Nice to have
- JavaScript, jQuery, or Prototype experience.
- Experience with Vagrant and Oracle VirtualBox.
