Technical Implementation Engineer (Application Security)

Location: Panama — fully remote

Salary: USD 70,000–80,000 annual base salary

hirify.global builds an application security platform that helps development teams identify, prioritize, and resolve open-source and application security risks in complex software environments.

What you will do

• Lead customer implementations from technical discovery and planning through deployment and early adoption.
• Act as the primary technical contact, learning each customer’s architecture, development workflows, and requirements.
• Integrate and configure the platform across source-code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and developer environments, including Maven- and Gradle-based systems.
• Troubleshoot complex software, infrastructure, and configuration issues and develop custom solutions when needed.
• Explain technical concepts and implementation progress through calls, email, and collaboration channels.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success while managing multiple implementation projects and supporting secure development practices.

Requirements

• Six or more years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, application security, product support, technical implementation, or a related field.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, APIs, source-code repositories, or deployment workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across complex software and infrastructure environments.
• Experience managing project-based technical work from discovery through delivery.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Based in Panama and able to work remotely with a manager and colleagues located in the United States. Strong spoken and written English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Maven, Gradle, open-source dependency management, DevSecOps, software supply-chain security, application security, or developer security tools.
