TL;DR
Business Performance Analyst (Operations and Supply Chain): Monitoring operational and logistics performance across Quebec Recycling with an accent on cost analysis, productivity, efficiency, and reliable performance reporting. Focus on building Excel and Power BI dashboards, identifying performance gaps, and supporting corrective actions and continuous improvement across a multi-site network.
Location: On-site in Montréal, Quebec, Canada

is a global metal recycling company with more than 125 locations and 4,000 employees, operating across recycling, construction waste, fabrication, demolition, and auto recycling.
What you will do
- Monitor operational performance metrics covering cost, productivity, efficiency, and service levels.
- Analyze operational and logistics cost variances, forecasts, key drivers, and optimization opportunities.
- Develop and maintain recurring performance reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
- Consolidate and validate production, inventory flow, and transportation data for accurate reporting.
- Identify performance gaps and support corrective action plans across operations and logistics.
- Partner with site managers and operational teams on production efficiency, asset utilization, turnaround times, cost management, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in operations, supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in operations analysis, industrial performance monitoring, logistics, or a related analytical role.
- Experience with operational cost structures, KPI monitoring, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data structuring; Power BI experience is an asset.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic operational environment.
- Bilingual French and English proficiency required.
Nice to have
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, supply chain, or asset-intensive multi-site environments.
- Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
