Senior Data Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain a unified framework integrating data from multiple sources and systems.
• Build and optimize pipelines for ingesting, processing, transforming, and storing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Work with data scientists and analysts to translate data requirements into robust data models.
• Develop tooling for data ingestion, quality, monitoring, and governance.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues, monitor performance, and optimize data processing and storage.
• Evaluate third-party data tools and apply AI or intelligent techniques to improve data quality, monitoring, and development workflows.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer, including production-grade data pipelines and data models.
• Proficiency in an object-oriented or functional programming language such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Strong understanding of data quality, governance, security, and lineage.
• Ability to troubleshoot data-related issues effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of C# web development using Microsoft .NET.
• Experience applying AI or intelligent techniques to data engineering workflows.
