General Service Technician / Lube Technician (Automotive)

Location: 1322 Northpark Drive, Kingwood, Texas, United States; onsite, full-time. The shop is closed every weekend.

What you will do

• Perform maintenance and repair services, including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, and related work.
• Conduct state-mandated vehicle emissions and safety inspections.
• Troubleshoot guest vehicle concerns and communicate damage or malfunctions to the service department.
• Complete accurate courtesy vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance reports.
• Follow federal, state, and local requirements, including hazardous-waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know rules.
• Maintain shop safety, cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• Current driver's license.
• Entry-level position; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift or move more than 50 pounds occasionally and work with tools above shoulder level and in tight vehicle spaces.
• Manual-tool dexterity, ability to stand or walk for most of the workday, and readiness to maintain a brisk pace in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles and efficiently use a computer.
