Senior Developer II - Full Stack C#, Private Wealth Technology

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid with a minimum of two days per week in the office

Salary: $130,000–$180,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits

What you will do

• Design, build, maintain, and operate internal applications and third-party integrations across the Microsoft technology stack.
• Gather requirements with business and operations stakeholders and produce technical designs and specifications.
• Deliver features end to end through design, development, testing coordination, deployment, release, and post-release validation.
• Diagnose production issues and improve reliability through monitoring, performance tuning, and root-cause remediation.
• Contribute to platform modernization, migrations, infrastructure improvements, and developer productivity initiatives.
• Manage multiple workstreams, communicate trade-offs, collaborate with engineers, and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience and a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Financial services experience; private wealth or wealth management data-domain familiarity is strongly preferred.
• Strong C#/.NET backend development and production-service operation experience.
• Advanced SQL and data skills, including data modeling, complex query optimization, ETL/ELT concepts, Microsoft SQL Server, and Snowflake.
• Full-stack web development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus REST/SOAP integrations using JSON/XML.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, and autonomous delivery of ambiguous problems from solution design through completion.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying and operating distributed systems on Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Azure.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and event-driven or service-oriented architecture patterns.
• Experience with Excel macros and VBA.
