TL;DR
Order Operations Specialist (SAP/FMCG): Managing the end-to-end customer order process in SAP from purchase order validation through final delivery with an accent on inventory coordination, delivery scheduling, and customer service. Focus on maintaining high fulfillment performance, resolving rejected merchandise incidents, and tracking OTD, CFR, TLU, and order rejection metrics.

Location: Bogota, Colombia; hybrid work

What you will do

  • Review, validate, and process customer purchase orders in SAP.
  • Schedule deliveries, reserve and allocate inventory, and confirm accurate delivery information.
  • Coordinate with Planning, Sales, Transportation, and external customers to support on-time and in-full delivery.
  • Negotiate delivery dates and conditions and approve demurrage charges or returns according to guidelines.
  • Manage rejected merchandise incidents and generate rejection codes for warehouse re-entry.
  • Track fulfillment and customer service KPIs, maintain service-level reports, and update the monthly scorecard.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Trade, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in Order Management and Customer Service.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Intermediate English proficiency required for reading, writing, and conversation.

  • Experience managing wholesale or modern trade customers in the FMCG industry.
