Manager of Construction (Industrial Construction): Leading construction engineering and field execution for industrial gas facilities and pipelines in Taiwan with an accent on safety, quality, schedule, cost, and contractor performance. Focus on developing construction resources, coordinating mechanical, piping, lifting, E&I, and commissioning activities, and implementing standardized construction execution procedures.
Location: Nanke, Tainan City, Taiwan; full-time onsite role

What you will do
- Lead Taiwan construction engineering resources and field activities across ASU, electronics tonnage, bulk gases, and pipeline projects.
- Manage construction contractors and ensure compliance with safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets.
- Coordinate site representatives, superintendents, safety teams, material controllers, commissioning, operations, procurement, and project management.
- Develop construction execution strategies, resource plans, contractor outsourcing approaches, cost estimates, and man-hour estimates for bids and projects.
- Implement construction procedures and tools, including Construction Execution Plans, Paths of Construction, Construction Readiness Reviews, and Advance Working Packages.
- Build team capability through coaching, audits, training, performance reviews, and career development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering.
- 15–20 years of experience in construction engineering or a similar industrial construction environment.
- Strong experience managing mechanical construction, piping erection, crane lifting, site safety, quality assurance, cost control, change management, and schedule control.
- Proven experience leading teams, challenging traditional strategies, improving competitiveness, and planning resources.
- Strong influencing, communication, decision-making, and issue-resolution skills in a high-pressure environment.
- Fluent English and Chinese are required.
