What you will do

  • Plan, manage, and execute human factors activities for internal and external clients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to apply human factors principles during product development.
  • Analyze user workflows, goals, tasks, and experiences to identify user needs.
  • Create and conduct usability studies and evaluate concepts and existing products.
  • Perform user-focused risk identification and assessment, including use FMEA.
  • Work with consumers and designers to identify product improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • BS or BSE in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Industrial Engineering, Cognitive Psychology, or a related human factors field.
  • Two or more years of human factors experience in medical devices or healthcare is preferred.
  • Experience conducting usability studies and analyzing use-related hazards.
  • Experience creating experience maps, site and app maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
  • Knowledge of research design for product development and familiarity with FDA, HE 75, and ISO 62366 standards.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States. Willingness to travel up to 20% is required.
