General Service Technician / Mechanic (Automotive)

What you will do

• Perform general maintenance and repair services, including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and suspension alignments.
• Conduct state-mandated vehicle emissions and safety inspections.
• Troubleshoot guest vehicle concerns and communicate damage or malfunctions to the service department.
• Complete accurate courtesy vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance reports.
• Follow hazardous waste, OSHA, safety, cleanliness, and organization requirements.
• Assist with housekeeping and other shop functions as directed by management.

Requirements

• Current driver's license required.
• Onsite work in Cypress, Texas.
• Entry-level position; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift or move more than 50 pounds occasionally and work with tools above the head and in tight vehicle spaces.
• Ability to stand or walk for most of the workday, drive manual-transmission vehicles, use hand tools, and maintain a brisk pace in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to use a computer and follow applicable vehicle-service regulations.
