Marketing Intern

Location: Spokane, Washington, USA; office-based

Salary: $22.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assist with creating and updating proposals, resumes, presentations, and other marketing materials.
• Maintain marketing information across software platforms and update website content.
• Create content for social media channels, newsletters, e-blasts, and internal communications.
• Support photography, press releases, technical articles, and external communications.
• Assist with market research and identifying industry trends and potential projects.
• Help plan and coordinate office and client events.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a four-year degree program in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a similar field.
• Availability to work at least 10 hours per week during the school year.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills with close attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, follow direction, and work independently.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat, and Microsoft Office 365.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and a collaborative, positive approach to work.
