What you will do

• Manage multiple fire protection engineering projects, including scope, staffing, schedules, budgets, delivery, and profitability.
• Provide fire protection and life safety consulting to architects, developers, owners, government agencies, and insurers.
• Apply ICC codes, including IBC, IFC, and IMC, and NFPA standards to support code-compliant solutions.
• Design and review fire alarm, detection, suppression, smoke control, and pressurization systems.
• Develop fire and smoke control models, conduct site visits, and coordinate with authorities, design teams, and contractors.
• Build client relationships, support proposals, present design approaches, and lead project meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Sciences, or a related engineering field.
• At least 6 years of professional fire protection experience, with 8+ years specified in the role title.
• At least 2 years of project management experience.
• P.E. license in Fire Protection Engineering or progress toward obtaining the credential.
• Strong technical writing, communication, planning, organization, and team leadership skills.
• Experience with FDS, CONTAM, egress modeling software, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
