General Service Technician (Automotive)

Location: Onsite at 551 Old Greenville Highway, Clemson, South Carolina, United States

Salary: Up to $25 per hour for the most skilled General Service Technicians.

What you will do

• Perform maintenance and repair services including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and suspension alignments.
• Complete digital vehicle inspections and accurate courtesy vehicle inspections according to company standards.
• Troubleshoot guest vehicle concerns and communicate damage or malfunctions to the service department.
• Complete preventive maintenance reports and comply with hazardous waste, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.
• Maintain shop safety, cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a General Service Technician.
• Current driver's license and ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Entry-level applicants are considered; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift or move over 50 pounds occasionally, stand or walk most of the workday, and work with tools above the head and in tight spaces.
• Ability to maintain a brisk pace in a high-volume environment and navigate a computer efficiently.
