What you will do

  • Lead surgical training and certification programs for surgeons and surgical sales teams across hirify.global Asia.
  • Develop and execute education and training strategies for surgical devices and integrate patient-centric education into scientific and medical society activities.
  • Build partnerships with ophthalmology societies, training institutions, hospitals, and academic organizations to support clinical curricula and long-term device adoption.
  • Manage engagement with key opinion leaders, thought leaders, policymakers, and ophthalmology institutions.
  • Define clinical protocols, training standards, and surgical techniques as the regional surgical subject matter expert.
  • Provide clinical input to patient journey solutions, business development, R&D, QA, and pharmacovigilance initiatives while monitoring market and competitor trends.

Requirements

  • Medical Doctor or optometry qualification with a Master's degree in Ophthalmology, an MBA, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Clinical and surgical ophthalmology experience, including glaucoma surgery.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Experience in professional education and training, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Experience managing key opinion leaders and thought leaders.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, written, verbal communication, customer service, and results-focused skills.
