Location: Casper, Wyoming, at Fed Casper Army National Guard and assigned military installations

Salary: $58,440–$93,500 annually

What you will do

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to military service members and their families.
• Help service members create spending plans for extended absences and deployment periods.
• Develop financial education materials and deliver classes, workshops, briefings, and presentations across the military lifecycle.
• Provide referrals and consultations with commanders, installation personnel, and other providers.
• Use secure web, chat, video, and teleconference tools when authorized for virtual counseling.
• Manage duty-to-warn situations, communicate trends to leadership, and participate in supervision, training, and quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or an associate degree plus four years of experience, or a high school diploma plus six years of experience.
• At least three years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
• Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest process.
• One of the following certifications is required: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
• A valid in-state driver's license is required.
