Test Automation Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 USD annually; full compensation packages depend on experience and certifications.

What you will do

• Plan and design robust, scalable automation infrastructure supporting business needs.
• Develop automation strategies and frameworks integrating validation tests and production metrics for non-deterministic processes.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks across iOS, Android, and web platforms.
• Design canary strategies for early detection of production outages and integrate test automation into CI/CD for continuous testing and delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, product managers, and stakeholders to define requirements and effective test plans.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, maintain test environments and data, evaluate testing tools, and enforce engineering best practices in production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or comparable work experience.
• 5+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer.
• Proven experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, PyTest, or TestNG.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Go.
• Strong networking knowledge.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure and infrastructure as code.
• Scripting skills such as Bash for automation tasks.
• Strong communication skills.
