IT Manager (Microsoft Security)

Location: Philippines; remote. Working hours follow AU/NZ business hours.

Salary: PHP45,000–PHP95,000 per month, depending on experience and technical skills.

What you will do

• Manage internal IT infrastructure, systems, Microsoft 365 administration, user accounts, identity and access management, and endpoint security.
• Implement and improve cybersecurity policies, controls, and procedures aligned with ISO 27001.
• Administer Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune.
• Monitor system performance, security, and compliance while identifying and mitigating risks.
• Provide technical leadership and escalation support for managed services and help desk operations.
• Develop documentation, disaster recovery plans, operational processes, and recommendations for new technologies.

Requirements

• 2 to 4+ years of experience as an IT Manager, Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or in a similar senior IT role.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, particularly ISO 27001, including governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Copilot in Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft 365 Security.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, and endpoint management.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills; MSP or help desk leadership experience is highly preferred.
