What you will do

• Develop and execute chemical processes supporting potential therapies from pre-clinical development through early clinical phases.
• Prepare active pharmaceutical ingredients for toxicology studies, clinical trials, and drug product development.
• Support projects involving small molecules, antibody drug conjugates, peptides, and oligonucleotides.
• Resolve synthetic and development challenges through creative, autonomous laboratory research and method development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and contribute to intellectual property, publications, and scientific conference presentations.
• Follow corporate standards for conduct, safety, quality, and material handling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Organic Chemistry.
• Typically 10+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 8+ years with a master’s degree, or 0+ years with a PhD.
• Thorough theoretical and practical understanding of the relevant scientific discipline.
• Broad expertise in modern synthetic organic chemistry, compound purification, and spectral analysis and interpretation.
• Ability to search chemical literature and evaluate solutions to synthetic problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with peptides, bioconjugations, biocatalysis, AI/ML, or oligonucleotides.
