Senior Software Engineer (AI Cloud)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States

Base salary: $153,000–$204,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits based on eligibility.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain network datapath monitoring and observability infrastructure for GPU cloud services.
• Build visibility and fault-detection solutions using real-time network telemetry and data analytics pipelines.
• Work with host networking, smart NICs, and overlay and underlay networks.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Production, and Data Platform Engineers on integrating network datapath solutions.
• Participate in on-call support, troubleshoot network issues, and improve operational reliability.
• Contribute to code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on networking and network observability.
• Expertise in network protocols, routing, and security, including TCP/IP, BGP, and kernel networking.
• Programming experience with Golang or Python for automation and scripting.
• Experience with software-defined networking, network virtualization, Kubernetes networking, and cloud infrastructure.
• Access to export-controlled information requires U.S. person status, eligibility without export authorization, or eligibility and reasonable likelihood of obtaining authorization.

• Experience with Kubernetes operators and controllers.
