SEO & AI Search Lead (SEO/AI Search): Owns organic search, AI search, and app store optimization strategies for a SaaS marketplace across B2B and B2C surfaces with an accent on technical SEO, structured data, and generative search visibility. Focus on optimizing content for AI citations, building entity authority, defining emerging search metrics, and driving measurable growth across web and mobile app channels.
Location: Onsite in Pleasanton, California, Monday through Friday
Base annual salary: $140,000–$174,000; annual bonus up to 10%.

What you will do
- Own SEO and AI search strategies across B2B and B2C surfaces, including AEO, GEO, and AIO.
- Optimize content and entity information for Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and other generative search experiences.
- Lead technical SEO initiatives covering crawlability, Core Web Vitals, schema, structured data, canonicalization, site architecture, and LLM crawler access.
- Develop keyword research, competitive analysis, topic clusters, content briefs, and local SEO initiatives.
- Lead App Store Optimization across the Apple App Store and Google Play through keyword research, creative testing, and performance monitoring.
- Report on SEO and AI search KPIs and collaborate with engineering, content, product, brand, paid, and lifecycle teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of SEO experience, preferably in SaaS, marketplaces, or high-growth technology brands.
- Demonstrated success building and executing strategies that drive measurable organic growth.
- Hands-on experience with AI search optimization, including AEO, GEO, and/or AIO.
- Strong technical SEO knowledge covering crawl analysis, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and canonicalization.
- Proficiency with Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, BI tools, and AI-powered SEO or content intelligence tools.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to work with engineering, content, and marketing.
